Hiking Highlights Schedule

Sept 16, Tuesday, 5:30 PM --: Sunset and Full Moon Hike to a high cliff on Griffin island Wellfleet overlooking Cape Cod Bay 2.2 miles. Meet at Great Island Parking lot at the end of Chequessett Neck Road.

Sept 24, Wednesday, 10:00AM --Morris Island and cIamming. Hike to outer Morris Island across from the Harding Beach Lighthouse, observe clamming and scalloping with Steve Conroy. Less than 3 miles.

Oct 9, Thursday 10:00AM --'In The footsteps of Thoreau', Welifleet, Walk the paths That Thoreau took to the "Oysterman's House". Wooded paths and some fine beach walking. Lesss than 3 miles

Oct 17, Friday, 6:30AM --Sunrise from Bearberry Hill Truro then walk to the Cranberry house and beach. Less than 3 miles.

Oct 23, Thursday, 10:00 AM -- Harwich Conservation Commission. Take one of the great HCC walks with Pat Sarantis.

Bonus Hike -"Hike a Hurricane" When the rains arid winds are heavy let's walk an ocean beach for a little while to See the storm up close then talk about our adventure at a pub over a hot chocolate. I will send an email when the forecast looks really bad.
