CONCH
Conch is a group of people who live in Chatham and Harwich on Cape
Cod who gather in all seasons to meet, develop friendships, and enjoy
social, sport, games, outdoor and indoor activities. Membership is
open to residents of both towns. An acronym for Continuing Newcomers
of Chatham/Harwich, CONCH was originally formed in 2000 by graduates
of the Newcomers Club who wanted to continue enjoying the activities
and friendships they made during their five-year term. The current
by-laws were formulated in 2003.
CONCH is now reaching out to
members of the community who are not neccessarily new to the area,
but are interested in the activities and friendships they will find
by joining this group. Contact Membership Director Jeff Hahner for

CONCH
General Meetings are held at the Harwich Community Center in September,
November, January, March, and May. Dues are $10 per year.
Activities include bowling, book clubs, bridge, in-home dining,
golf, travel, singles, tai chi, woman's gourmet group, and many others.
Events include luncheons, a spring theater party, and a dinner dance,
as well as a picnic.
